Discipleship at Boone Trail

Discipleship—following after Jesus—is at the heart of the Christian life. Together, we Learn the Faith on Sunday mornings, we Live the Faith on Sunday evenings, and we Lead Others in the Faith as we follow after Christ as His Body here on earth. Discipleship is for every Christian of every generation to become more like Christ.

Learn Groups meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30. Rather than being age-graded fellowships, these classes are focused on providing Christian instruction and doctrine to help inform our 10:45 corporate worship.

Live Groups meet on the first and third Sundays of each month in homes all around the community. These groups focus heavily on fellowship and on providing countless informal service opportunities. Groups are encouraged to share a meal together, discuss the recent sermons, and share prayer requests and needs.

Lead Groups are age-specific discipleship groups that feature high-accountability and sequential Bible study. These groups provide Christians with a close-knit context for focused sanctification by the Word of God.

We also have quarterly Men’s & Women’s fellowships to connect and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.

For Adults

Boone Trail Students meet weekly to encourage one another in the Christian faith. Coming from schools all around our community, Boone Trail Students don’t just study the Word. We study the Word so we might know God more and be more like Him every day. The ministry is made up of 7th-12th grade students and adult leaders from across the Tri-Cities area.

Current Studies:

  • The Gospel of Luke (Wednesday Nights @ 6:30)

  • The Epistle of James (Learn Group - Sunday Mornings @ 9:30)

For Students

Our heart for the children of BTBC is that they be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, grow in all wisdom and spiritual understanding so that they can go, walking worthy of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work and lead others to Christ.

On Sunday mornings, children are taught the fundamentals of our faith using LifeWay’s Bible Studies for Life curriculum.

On Wednesday nights, children aged Pre-K-6th Grade are welcomed to our AWANA program, where they will be taught Christian doctrine, encouraged to memorize the Scriptures, and play fun games with one another.
